Week in Review 12.27. 20

Pretty hard to believe that we're nearing the end of 2020! This year offered a lot of challenges, but it also offered a lot of blessings. COVID kicked everyone in the teeth. But I'm healthy, still have a job, and a wonderful group of friends and family who have helped me stay sane.

I'll be spending this week up until New Year's Eve in my usual fashion...doing my annual O-souji, using Susannah Conway's Unravel Your Year workbook, and thinking up a few things I want to let go of as we move into 2021.

Some interesting things I stumbled across this week...

I never knew I needed a set of these until I saw the pattern. Maybe a project for 2021???

I watched Impetigore this week, and it was GONZO! 2020 wasn't a particularly strong year for horror movies, but I enjoyed watching this highly atmospheric Indonesian film, despite its flaws.

I signed up for this class on a total whim (seriously, it was like 1 am and I thought "Why the hell not?!?"), and I'm excited to see what comes of it!

If you're looking for beautifully shot, calming vlogs from Japan, look no further than Currently Hannah's YouTube channel.

It's that time of year when everyone everywhere is posting their Best Books of Year lists. There are far too many to read, so thank goodness for LitHub's Ultimate List, which compiles the most popular books on various lists into only one. I also like Reading Glasses annual Best Of episode!
